I'm considering buying a PSP Stamina Battery through Craigslist, but I need tips to ensure it isn't a fake.

Here are images below of what it looks like.

i would say thats Fake.

I would say it is almost impossible to buy a genuine one online. Pay the money and get a official one from only a Sony supplier or a Well known supplier.

The genuine ones i have the SOny logo on the front of the battery is indented into the battery casing and are not sprayed / printed on the front in either gold or white.

PsP#1 : 2.01>3.71M33-4>3.80 M33-5
PsP#2 (Slim) : 3.80>3.90M33-2 All hail the UPMS Stck
If you need a UPMS Stick go here and then go here :-) *As recommended by January39

I bought one identical to that - including the packaging and it's a fake I think. It works in my phat but not in my slim.

I think it's best to follow the good advice above re buying online - best to go to a proper outlet and get the real deal.
