I took my wii into the local fix it up shop when it comes to mods, and had the wii key installed, as they do with everything else they do, they show you it working before you leave the store. Now I get her home and try and burn some iso's with 0 success.
I have tried on a Phillips external, NEC internal, and bought a pioneer 115D to try that and it is burning as we speak. I have tried TDK, Memorix and Verbatim media and nothing. Different iso's as well. Tried with IMGBurn, trying with nero now, but I am at a loss as to wtf I am doing wrong. Is there a certain speed you have to burn them at? Only certain burners work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow. Okay, as far as burn speed, I burn pretty much all of mine at 4x, but a lot of people like 2.4x. Generally, slower is better.
If there is a problem, it is usually with the media being used, not the burner. However, seeing as you have used a variety of media (including Verbatim and Memorex, which are usually pretty safe bets) then I don't see that being the problem.
What iso's are you trying to burn? SSBB and SMG have been known to have many issues, so I would stay away from those until you can figure out what the problem is.
What is the firmware on your wii and your wiikey? Make sure your wiikey is updated to 1.9g (as you would have problems with SMG or SSBB if it is not).
Perhaps try burning some GC games. Make sure you use GCOS. They tend to have higher success rates. If you can get those to work then at least you know it's not a problem with your media or burner.
SMG worked on the Pioneer 4X with TDK. I tried Destroy all Humans on it with the same settings and coaster. Now I will try the Verbatim with the Poineer and go from there.
