Any ideas where to download from? how can I find out what sort of chip I have in my xbox? I didnt put it in, its actually my fiancees xbox, she has no idea.

ya need to edit the evox.ini file so your setup to network/ftp into the xbox and then create an xbox image file and then burn that image file with Nero or recordnow to cd-rw

check out my evolution x bootdisc guide here

thanks, I actually just finished following ur mod guide a while ago, Im using xiso now to convert to ISO file its still says its generating tree files but the ISO icon has stopped at 72kb is this the right size? I wasnt entirely clear on this part in the instructions, I was supposed to edit the file as mentioned then place the selected files in a folder then drop the WHOLE folder into Xiso to convert? does that make sense? thats the way I understood it. hope its right, but 72 kb doesnt seem like a whole lot for the dashboard. With the settings u mentioned in the guide, doess it matter that Im in Australia and am using a PAL xbox? and does it matter what sort of chip I have and what the hell is flashing? lol geez im useless. really appreciate the help.
