psx memory card problem

since there is no psx section i thought this should go better here.

a friend of mine lent me his psx memory card so i could play ffvii on my ps2. the thing is, the mc is full and i can't format it because the ps2 browser can't access it.

I've also tried using uLaunchElf to copy the psx mc save files to my pen drive, but when i browse the mc it doesnt display any save files there.

Is there any way to format a psx memory card or manage it's save files witouht the use of a PSX or DEXDrive?
