hacking 3.9 slim to m33

ok, i bought a psp slim a few months ago and im trying to put an m33 firmware on it so i can play gameson the mem stick off my memory card, right now it has 3.9 on it after alot of research i found out you need a pandora battery and a magic stick to hack it so i bought one online. so first i put in the magic stick then the pandora battery and the screen just stays black, i even tryed to hold the l button before i put in the battery, idk what to do now. maby the memory stick i was sent is wrong can any one help???

try puttin in the battery in first then mem stik. thats what i did and make sure both are made right
