I was on PSP 3.80 M33-4 when the 3.90 M33 came out. The M33 update couldn't find the 390.PBP and then i cancelled it. After that I went to find the 3.90 M33 easy installer, somehow I ended up with Skype instead of Go!Messenger.

Is there anyway to change this?

I have skype and go!messenger on my slim - am I normal? lol

Japanese psp on 3.90m33-2 pretending to be european.

I haven't used go!messenger yet but I've downloaded and installed the eboot and stuff for it. But skype works like a dream - really cool to have a free psp phone.

Its very weird how you got both in your PSP. I think its ok.

Go! Messenger is probably the best type of way to communicate on a PSP. Skype needs credit that you buy with money. Go! Messenger is free, just like communicating on a PC messenger.

Skype is free to other skype users -you only need credit if you call regular phone numbers. So in that respect it's on a par with go!messenger.

I guess the advantage of skype is that you're not tied in to communicating with other psp users - just anybody with a broadband connection and skype software. Given this there is probably a bigger skype community already established, making it more practical.
