Alright, i'm trying to figure something out;
on the D2Ckey website, it states:

"D2Ckey uses a new approach we call the Intelligent Code Modifying System (ICMS). Instead of just uploading some code and then doze off, ICMS constantly monitors data on address and data buses, patching it if necessary. This has several advantages:

It is virtually undetectable by the Wii hardware
Improved reading of recordable recordable media
Backup disc loading will emulate original game disc loading closer"

While on the Wasabi website it states:

"It's the first D2C compatible chip that is as clean as DMS/D2B drivechips: full control over the drive's firmware, no physical patching on the lines while the games are running. That means perfect stability, more control, and no stress on the drive's components."

Now, i'm confused as to which is actually better, does anyone know for sure?

What is better? Patching when neccessary and not being detected or having complete control?

Wasabi is better but it's not the best, There are many threads in this section discussing the latest chips. Browse, read and glean some insight ;)

Infectus 2, Argon, D2Pro, Wasabi - only chips you should consider for D2C.
