Hello people, I just bought a PSP (3.92 TA-082) yesterday from a friend who is also a noob in terms of downgrading/upgrading, its been a day since i was reading this forum about firmwares and all, and have tried a lot of tutorials, even watch a youtube tutorial. Can someone point me to the right direction on a guide on how i can downgrade my 3.93 TA-082 to 1.50? Thanks and hoping for your help.

HERE , it still requires you to get a pandoras battery. Sorry, it's the only way.

thanks, is there a safer way to make a Pandora Battery? the Hardmodded is kind of risky

Yes risky but It's getting very hard to buy them cause everybody seems to be sold out. THIS is your best bet.

Is the Pandora Battery same with this Jigkick guid anyway no harm in trying. Please reply if you think theres a better way to downgrade my PSP fw 3.93 TA-082

oh my, you mean i'm back to square 1. so to have a CFW, i must really have a pandora battery, and theres? no safe way on making a pandora battery with a OFW.
What if i found a friend with a 3.71 m33 cfw, can i make a jigkick and a magic stick on his PSP and use it on my PSP(3.93 TA-082)

You cannot downgrade a PSP to 1.50 firmware. You can only downgrade it to 3.71 M33-2 and then upgrade to 3.71 M33-4 CFW, 3.80 OFW, 3.90 OFW, 3.93 OFW, 3.80 M33 CFW or 3.90 M33 CFW. Oh btw, you cannot make a magic memory stick unless you have CFW or 3.71 OFW and below as Sony has blocked ipl writing to the memory stick in the 3.80 and 3.90 OFW.
EDIT: You cannot downgrade the new PSPs (white ceramic ones) to 1.50 but you can downgrade the old ones to 1.50.

Ah ok, so how can i make mine have CFW any cfw will be fine as long as it can play ISO. Again i have 3.93 OFW TA-082.

Yes. Make a UPMS installer on his PSP and turn your battery into a Pandoras with his PSP. Use the installer and pandoras in yours

Sorry but I don't recommend using the UPMS installer as it didn't work for some people.
I recommend using this package that I made to make your Magic Memory Stick on a CFW PSP. Note that you should back up everything on the memory stick before you turn it into a magic one.
Just follow the instructions in the included guide.
