OK, first things first - screw SSBB and SMG. Now that I got this out of the way, here are my problems:
1) Dialup internet at the location of Wii (so can't really download anything big)
2) WiiKey with 1.9g on japanes Wii ver 2.0 in the PAL country (so can't just go out and buy JAP game with latest update)
3) Bully SE (03/03/08) that loads in the dashboard (picture and music with option to run the game or go back into Wii menu) but upon start gives me black screen of death!
According to Wiki.gbatemp.net game runs on J Wii without WBB: "Tested on 3.2J & Wiikey 1.9g without WBB". Then the problem I'm facing is ver 2.0 vs ver 3.2.
How do I update?
Download WiiFit? Well even if I find it on the net, that's 4.5GB over dialup :) And there is no garantee that the image wasn't WBBed, which is a reason why I need it in the first place.
Connect Wii to the internet? Things to do before hand: find a way to connect Wii buildin WiFi to laptop's wireless directly, then find a way to bridge that connection with dialup in XP and on;y then start preying that the connection doesn't reset its self in the middle of an upgrade :)
Find a way to download just the firmware update for Wii-J, burn it onto dvd and update the system? Well, I han't seen just updated tracks on the net for download. Maybe you do?
Any suggestion are welcomed.
p.s. As per SSBB and SMG, I have nothing against those games nor those who likes them, it just tiring reading about them in each and every thread :)
