recorder burn option not showing

have used the dvd shrink guide and am up to the stage of nero 7 burn but the option for recorder burn compliation does not highlight is greyed out should i be doing something else?

Go to Edit/ Preferences and click on the File I/O tab. Is Enable burning with Nero checked?
