In an email notification to users, Peerflix has announced that it will cease operations of its DVD trading service. Peerflix competed with rental services like Netflix, but differed because it instead let its users swap their own disc collections. Peerflix was lame anyways, it didn't carry as many titles as Netflix currently does especially hard to find titles.

I always wondered what happened when you got a broke disc. This happens with the flimsy Netflix mailers all the time. Anyone know?
