all of you who were and are still blaming ubisoft for rainbow six vegas 2 terrible and laggy online, you are probably blaming the wrong people. My friend rang up ubisoft who said that they don't host any servers and that the x360 game is fine online. Ubisoft said it is to do with the playstation servers. It is probably Playstation's fault!!!!!

Regardless of the lag issues there are alot of things wrong with the game that are ubisoft's fault. Like the frame-rate going down to almost 2fps for minutes sometimes for no reason, badges resetting, and they better get rid of that ranking glitch I don't blame them for that because its not something they could have been aware of.

Are the servers Sony operated? Or did they hire a company to do it, and if so who?

well my friend said sony do operate the servers, i think they do it themselves.

That doesnt make sense as RB6 is a third party game, I can't see sony putting up their servers for another developers game.

I heard that as well, I know they did for the original Vegas but I haven't found definitive proof about Vegas 2.

Turns out that their site hasn't been updated since 06' from the looks of it, when Activation bought them out. Yes Activation the same people who made COD4.
