I installed a Duo Q Chip and it will boot the game backup but when it loads up the controller dont work

Any ideas

im gonna buy a new controller and try it

It might be you have a version 2 deck.

Do me a favor check on the back of your gamecube do you have the digital port and the standard port on the back of your console.

If not you have a deck 2 nintendo noticing gamers were not to happy to shell out 80.00 for a digital cable removed the digital port which makes the deck console version 2.

If you have a version 1 you most likely fried your controller or controller board.

If you have a version 2 you will need to replace the capacitor on the controller board.

i do have the digital Av Out and Analog Out
when i turn it on with out a game in it the left stick works to go up/down but the "A" or "B" buttons dont work

It sounds like your controller is dead.

Try another controller and see if it fixes the issue you have a version 1 deck i wouldn't be to worried about the controller board being fried because if your controller is semi working your fine.

If this doesn't work...

Your chip may be installed wrong or you have solder on something you are not suppose to.

Ok i got it fixed, the controller was bad.. but now i got a new problem
i broke this



ok now i fixed that too.. Just had to connect the 3 pins..
