WiiWare finally launched in Japan

Nintendo's WiiWare service has finally launched in Japan and the company says there will be nine titles available on launch day. Following the Japanese launch is the North American launch on May 12th and finally the European launch (to be known as Wii Software not WiiWare) sometime later this year. The states got wii ware before Japan is amazing to me(because 90% of the time they get the technology first)and I hope we can continue to try out games/accessories first.

I think you got mixed up with the wii's launch with the wiiware's launch. Although there was a section called wiiware, it isn't fully launched it, as of right now it only contains a few key softwares like check mii out etc. Although the states was the first to get the wii, unfortunately the games still follow behind. Japan got Brawl before we did.

I would like to know where they got this information at i am in the u.s.a and where getting wiiware on the 28th of this month occording to the nintendo update message are wii's received just a few days ago.

I'm kind of confused. They mention Wiiware, but also mention games... I thought the games were Virtual Console and Wiiware was Check Mii out, Voting, etc..
Anyways, I can't wait to play some classic Sega Master System games! No one really knew about that system, but I HAD ONE! Personally I felt it was better then NES, just not as popular :-(
