ok my wii plays super mario galaxy and smbb with no probs. but just tried mlb 2k8 house of the dead and no more heroes and nothing. i have a wiikey. also my wii power button would turn yellow when i shut it off with the wiimote now it goes str8 to red, is that an issue?

im kinda of new to this but it sounds like u semi bricked ur system if that the case a firmware update should resolve the issue

Semi-brick shouldnt effect game play and its easy to check, just see if you can get into the wii settings. If you can then its not a semi-brick and you can turn wiiconnect24 back on (which will make the light yellow again)

Anyway, check to make sure the region of the games you have and that region override on your chip is enabled.
