i took a .x264 file and converted it to xvid . now the file is too big to fit on a dvd. is there a program i can use that will make the file size smaller without losing quality? its hd 720p btw

Is HD 720p , or it was before you converted it to Xvid ?
Anyhow, any time you do a conversion(even to the same format, using same codec ), you will have a quality loss. What program did you use to convert it?
Try Avi ReComp to make the avi smaller.

i use automkv. the file it made is 4,586,154 i think if i cut the open and ending credits it would be fine. is there a program for that?
