Pionner drives always booktype to DVD-ROM and I haven't had any troble with any other backups but the xbox 360 keeps trying to play the game with the dvd player.

Using Verbatim disks to make the copy.

Anyone have any ideas?

The source of the iso would be good. Did you stealth check it with xbox backup creator?
