MGS Disk2 problem

hello all. i installed pops on my 3.90 M33 psp last week and played MGS, up untill the end of disk 1 (where u kill sniper wolf for the 2nd time) and then i went down the stairs and was told to insert disk 2! and as most gamers know, there isn't a valid way to do the disk 2 insertion unless with some weird mod or something. after doing some research i used this following guide[url=http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/485480][/url].
i did all the steps, but NOW i have a bigger problem! disk 1 won't even start (just a black screen after the PS logo), it's like pops is gone or something, can some1 please help me out, i did a lot of research and i finally resorted to a thread. Thanks!
