I have an 8 Gig MKV that I use TSMUXERGUI 1.6.1 to convert to M2TS and split in 4 gig pieces. If I choose to change video profile from 5.1 to 4.1, the PS3 will not show the video, however if I just leave as is, it actually plays in the PS3! does the new PS3 2.20 firmware now support 5.1 video profiles!???

That is convenient if it does, however I just watched a movie with the 4.1 level.

BTW, when using mt2s splitting is not required, unless you are splitting for DVD5's. There is no file size limitation for m2ts. Also, Dolby Digital 5.1 will play straight from the HDD.
