Hi, i wanted to know when gran turismo 5 prologue is going to be up for download on the Europe (UK) PS Store. The release date is today (28 March 2008) but its not up at the moment, so just wondering (cant wait lol). Thanks

It?s official - SCEA announced today the April 17 North American release date for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, available exclusively for PS3. Developed by famed Polyphony Digital, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will be available for $39.99 on Blu-ray Disc (BD) and as a download via the PLAYSTATION Store.
This is for US i know, but i am certain it should up on PS Store EU as well... if not, damn i am stupid! lol

world u not just go to the shop and buy it if its the same price?
EDIT: i just read that sony had technical difficulty with the EU servers
so u can wait for GT5 i might be fixed today or u can go buy it

its was only put on 2 the EU store there when i posted. was mean 2 be out y'day but got delayed. there not the same price its cheaper 2get on disc

yee i just went out and got it from woolworths for just £19.99. PS Store got stupid price for GT5.

Prologue is £25 in ALL of the shops i've been in today.
Also, isn't it wise to buy the disc as there is a resale value if you don't like it or grow tired of it?
I had a problem downloading the update for it, and it seems a common problem as there is a part on the Official PS site about it. It took me a good 2hrs to eventually get online with it, but keep p[ersisting if you are having trouble with it. It says on the site that if the download stops, it restarts from that point and does not need a full download again, so if it fails 10 times like it did with me, it will atleast be downloading bits at a time.
60gb launch PS3.....50" Sony Bravia.....LG 5.1 surround..... gaming heaven.

buy it on bluray ,if you get bored with it sell it .pointless to dl it
psp 2.71 to some m firmware
ps3 60 gig ,now with internal 320 gig

its an introductory or taster of the full GT5 that will be coming out in 2009, so GT5 Prologue has limited tracks and cars. But i still love it :D

because its a prologue so its not actually the final product. they might releaser a better version?
this is what i heard not sure how true but sounds correct.
Can you kit out your car on this one cant seem to see anywhere todo it.?

You cant tune your car with bigger turbos and stuff, once you complete all races you are able to tune your car with things like changing the gear ratio and lowering suspension etc.. Also you can buy cars that are tuned versions of the original ones under the GT Concept dealership.
