I have searched how to make .avi files smaller, but don't know if even making my files smaller will do the trick to fix my problem. I just uploaded AVI ReComp, but don't know how to use it yet. Also here's how my problem started:
I created a set of 15-20 short .avi files using a program called Camtasia and would like to put them on a DVD. The files come to about 40 minutes of video/audio. However, the files are huge and the only thing I can think of is finding a way to make the .avi files smaller. I can't understand how 39 minutes of video can't fit on to a DVD-R that has 4.7 GB and should fit 2 hours of video. What am I doing wrong?
Also, even when I try to make an ISO Image of just one .avi file, I'm getting an error (See Below). Can someone please help me. What am I doing wrong?
