Noob question:

I have a slim PSP with 3.71 software, Is there any way to downgrade to 1.5 other than with the Pandora Battery method?

Most of the threads mention 3.71 M33, what does the M33 part mean as my software is just 3.71.

My gosh, when will you people learn you can't downgrade a slim? You can only install CFW on it with a Pandora.

Custom Firmware is exactly minor alterations and workarounds to teh original firmware which allow a whole host more features to be un locked.

The use of Homebrew, ability to play ISO from a memory card and loads of other things. M33 is just the current range of FW, before M33 there was the OE open edtion range.

M33 is the most current (and in my view the best) with the obviuos firmwares after. 3.71>3.80 etc etc.

With a slim you must have a pandora battery to d/g and the slim can never be d/ged to 1.50 as it never existed with 1.50.

It is possible to run a variant of 1.50 via the Time machine.

Thanks for the info Feenix.

I have actually just read up on the time machine and how to convert my battery to a Pandora battery.

Rather than convert my existing battery I plan to purchase a pre-made Pandora Battery, any recommendations other than Ebay where I could find one?
