With all the people messing up and bricking their PSP's I know there is a lot of threads about how to downgrade but with a lot of the compatibility issues I just wanted to make sure I don't brick my PSP.
I bought an unused one from ebay (Ceramic white 1003), I bought my MS Pro Duo 4gb and thats where I am at.
There is no letters inside where I put my UMD so I dont have that new Motherboard and near the barcode on my box there is the letter "J" (whatever that is).
One of my main concerns is does it matter if i'm in UK? upgrading to the right regional firmware and also generally, how do I get to 1.5? Preferably the safest route, I've considered upgrading to 2.8 because there's a nice guide on here for 2.8->1.5.
So if anyone could help me in creating a simple guide for me to get my PSP able to play iso/cso's movies music from my memory stick i'd very much appreciate it.
Oh BTW, i'm on firmware 2.60 currently. 2.60, no letters by UMD mobo, J on the box.
