I recently downloaded a movie or actually a series (Dragonball Z Cell Saga)that is in the form of a Video_TS Folder.

The Video_TS file is an actually DVD rip Menus and all.

I want to burn this folder to a DVDR...should be fairly easy right?(this is what I thought) I was told that I could just burn the folder using Windows DVD Maker but when I did it resulted in "error incorrect disc" when I try to play it in my dvd player, yet, it plays fine [menu and all] when I watch it on my computer.

So I tried DVDFabPlat but the end result was "Error Incorrect Disc". The disc that I burned plays on my computer but not in an actual dvd player.

Finally I tried Roxio v9 and used the "quick DVD" feature. The end result was a fairly watchable DVD though the sound was choppy [I believe because the sound is in mpeq format] and the video suffered a bit.

Help! What do I do to get this folder to burn right!?]

If the video is PAL and your country uses NTSC there could be a problem.
Check by dragging VTS_01_1.VOB onto GSpot.

Thanks for the reply brah. This has become to much work for me. I thought that Video-TS folder would be the "easiest" to download and then to burn considering its the "exact dvd rip" but its been nothing but trouble for me. I just dont feel like downloading gspot so I went to mininova and downloaded the .avi version of this movie...makes my life easier. Thanks anyway.

Why don't you just burn it as a data dvd? Make a AUDIO_TS folder, and add that and your video_ts folder to your burning program (I'm going to assume you have nero? Most people do).

There is another really easy way to deal with this.. do the same as above, make an empty audio_ts folder and add the video_ts folder along side it in another custom made folder.. call it project..that's just so you can find it.. Then download and install imgburn
Run it in "make" mode and point it at the 2 folders inside the "project" folder.. It will churn for a while and make a file which is an iso in the project folder.. then just use imgburn in burn mode to burn that iso on your blank disk.. really simple ;)
