Too Many Burning Applications

Is it possible to have too many burning apps loaded at the same time? I have Easy Creator 6, BurnAtOnce, CloneDVD which includes a burning program, Nero6 (deleted but setup files still available) and TMPGEnc... Started noticing strange things once I loaded the Nero while I still had the Roxio loaded so I deleted the Nero and the problems seems to have went away..

Am I nutz or what?
