I have a store bought B.L Stryker DVD dl that has two episodes on it. I would like to rip it to HDD and then burn 1 episode on each DVD-5. Otherwise I would have to shrink it 53% and I don't want to do that nor do I want to purchase DL discs and dl disc writer. Can anyone tell me how to do this and which/what files do I need to use? I have ripitforme, decrypter, shrink, and imageburn programs
Thanks, Steve

Rip the movie to your HDD with DVDFab HD Decrypter, and then use DVD Shrink to author the DVD.First drag in the DVD Shrink author window first episode, burn it, and then do the second one. I don't know what encryption is on that DVD, you could try ripping it directly with DVD Shrink.

You did not look over the guide in the link that I provided for you:~)!
Open DVD Shrink, click on "Re-author", navigate to the Video_TS folder on your HDD and open the folder...follow the guide from my post above!

I must apologize, I thought the link was to download shrink. I'll look it over and then give it a try tomorrow morning.
thanks again for the response and the help.

LOL! Sorry, I should've said "here's a guide"! Anyway, I think the guide is pretty straight-forward...but if you have any other problems, post back. I am assuming since there are only 2 episodes, you are not interested in having workable menus.

I split numerous DVDs that had multiple episodes, and kept the menus. For that, I find it very easy to do it is by using VobBlanker.

cyprusrom, thanks again,
I used the tudorial, and it was so easy! I kinda feel dumb, but I must say its only easy if you've done it before.
As far as saving menus, I didn't need to this time but might in the near future. Is there a guide for that (using Voblanker)? I'm buying some old tv series from timelife. Rockford Files, etc.

To use VobBlanker seems much more complicated than it actually is. You can basically split in 2-3 clicks. If you chose so, you can even skip the PgcEdit step and not hide the unusable menu buttons(since you will be blanking half of the disc, the menu buttons pointing to that will not be usable).

Here you can find guides:
