Hello again!

Many people use the PsP to watch vids. Converting can be done with several programs. Now, I myself use PSP Video 9. However, I can't find the proper settings that work on the PSP anymore!

So my plan is to put together a thread with all the information about video converting for the PSP.

What I know so far:

- There's no existing converter that can make UMD ISO's from DVD's or other movies.
- Currently, the PSP only supports certain MPEG4 files.
- Perhaps, WMV support will be added in the future.

Now, my questions:
- What program is best to use for MPEG4 conversion for the PSP
- What settings are "optimal" for the usage with the PSP, with "optimal", I mean the best balance between quality and size.
- What settings result in the smallest usable files (less size, less quality, but still decent enough)
- What settings result in the best quality movies (Better quality, bigger size, but then what's best for the PSP itself)

So, please, everyone post some information, add all you know and once we have all the info we need, I'm going to make a "guide thread" out of it, so everyone who has questions about video converting can get it answered right here at Afterdawn. Thanks in advance!

Well the PSP can play a lot different format . As long u have a player. There are plenty homebrew media players that are able to play different media formats. Like AVI ... etc.

1. I recommend using this app
