guys i need help, i dont know whats going on.... every backup that i burn now , on verbatim discs i get "clean disk" right after i put the game in the console. i use the dvd burner in my hp laptop, some of the older backups work great like halo, fifa or gutar hero 3, but now it is getting really annoying since i destroyed like 7 dvds already. i try using clonecd and imgburn, using the lowest speed
i bought that xbox about a month ago (already pre modded), it's ixtreme 1.4 i think.
see the thing is that i tried to burn 3 games, rockband (which i already burned and it worked, but recently started to show "clean disc") , table tennis and guitar hero 2. i could off course try to burn again like guitar hero 3 which works great... but i would really hate wasting more dvd's.... :(
make sure your firmware is up to date. i had this problem recently with an old box that was banned. had old c4eva extreme firmware on it. most new games get burned fro ixtreme, and without ixtreme firmware, the drive wont be able to read them. the new firmware for the pc drives, kreon v.1 i beleive only works for ixtreme firmware.
