Viper GC Extreme-Need Help

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have installed my Viper GC Extreme. I loaded the BIOS and my Gamecube boots up to the Viper main menu. I can backup my games' ISOs via Cobrabackup to my PC and I can successfully burn the ISO files to mini DVD'R, however, my gamecube does not recognize them. I have tried a few different brands but it does not recognize any of them. It will still play my original games but not the backups. Any ideas?

Have you tried doing a POT tweak?
