DMS 4 E.Z.I Pro Modchip problems

When i first installed the DMS4 ezi chip everything worked perfectly. I was able to play all my backups and what not. After 5 months of having it chipped, the modchip would only detect the first time i turned the ps2 in the day. If i was to turn off ps2 and restart it the backup would not be detected. Strange huh? Well yesterday i decided to open my ps2 and so no problems so i removed bios clip and dcp clip and put them both togeher and still no luck.

What can the problem be? Also, does anyone have a tutorial on how to solder a dms4 ezi pro on a version 9 ps2

Also most of the times when i start up the ps2 it gives me black screen then i restart it becoems blue screen then i restart again and ps2 boots up fine.

If you can get it up with the chip try to reflash it with the most upto date bios/os which ever one you need and see if that helps if not take off the ezi kit and solder it directly to the board.
