OK, what I have is a DVD Copy of a basketball game that a friend gave to me. Unfortunately he created it as a single chapter(2 hours long!!!) DVD and I would like to rip the files and break it down into multiple chapters (preferably every 4 minutes of gametime) and burn it again.

I managed to rip the DVD onto my HD using CloneDVD. The files it put into the TS_VIDEO folder are as follows:
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB
VTS_01_3.VOB
VTS_01_4.VOB
VTS_01_5.VOB


I have the Sonic MyDVD software but it seems I need to go one step further and convert the files into .avi or .mpeg before I can continue with editing the video into chapters.

Can someone tell me what I should be doing and suggest the proper software to handle all of this for me?
