My Story:

I have a launch Wii with wiikey and a D2C Wii with the D2Pro. There are many resources for the Wiikey but not for the D2Pro. As of now both are working fine for me. (Except that that wiikey won't play the original SSBB. I am aware of the wiikey update but I don't want to update until I am certain it works fine.) When I was researching modchips for the D2C, I was advised to get the D2Pro. So I did. My installer was not very reliable for me. Install was to include chip, install and programmer etc.. Well lets just say that was lucky to have gotten my wii back period. So now I have my wii with the D2Pro and the cable sticking out one of the usb slots, but no programmer. Is the programmer out yet because I cannot find it online for sale anywhere? How do I update the chip once I get a hold of the programmer? If anyone can post a guide or point me into the right direction for this information I would appreciate it.

The Programmer is supposed to be released the end of this month which is today.

The only firmware available at this time for D2Pro is one for 15 wire install and one for 13 wire install.

So you have the latest firmware for whatever firmware the moder installed.

So I have a new issue with my D2pro. I will not read any Gamecube backups. I got them working on the wii with wiikey but not the d2pro. I have tried everyone of them and they don't read on the d2pro and then I loaded them in the wiikey and they played fine. All games are ntsc and so is the d2pro wii. Is anyone else having these issues with the d2pro??

I've just updated my friend's wiikey installed wii with 1.9s and used the official config disc 1.4. everything ran smoothly. Both SMG and SSBB (burned w/ Verbatim dvd+r DL, No layer break) can play flawlessly. It's a NTSC wii with 3.2U firmware.

I, myself, have a d2pro wii. It freezes at the white screen when loading SSBB w/o layer break. So I did a copy with layer break and it workd smoothly. My d2pro installer didn't extend a programmer and it's a 15-wire version.

D2pro plays original ssbb and backup fine without layer break. Having problems with Gamecube backups...

Tried playing 2 more gamecube backups. Mario Tennis, Paper Mario...Plays fine with the wiikey but no love on the d2pro wii. Any ideas??
