Yes I know that those work but what I am asking is if I can use the normal headsets with mics so that I can chat in SOCOM: FTB2 with my headset; I don't have to buy one specifically for the PSP system.
I'm not 100% sure about this. IF you CAN, you definitely will need the psp remote control unit. That I know for a fact. You can't even use the Socom Headset without it. The setup for headset use on the psp is: Headset--->remote control unit--->psp
