hi, i have posted many questions with no responses, searched the forums endlessly, exhausted google, and yet i still dont have what i am looking for.
i need a complete idiots guide (step by step) to get SMG to work with a wiikey. i dont care if its like pages long lol, im just tired of nothing ever working for me.
i have a NTSCwii (3.2U) and am trying to get a legic backup of mario galaxy to work on my wii. (the iso is an exact iso, no brickblocker/wiifrii used etc). my other backups all work except this game.
i need a guide that tells me exactly how to get from a wii 3.2u and a wiikey version 1.9B to work with SMG (which requires it to be 1.9G as you all know, or atleast now, probably 1.9S)
if someone could do this for me, i will be forever greatful for you becuase i have already gone through a spindle of dvds trying to reburn the game on differnet speeds, w/e, but still end up with nothing happening. All i get is the disc channel doing nothing, and when i click on it, both wii and GC discs spin, but then goes oops, can read disc or whatever.

Have you MADE any working backups? (you say that all your other backups work.)
The backup creation process for SMG is NO DIFFERENT than any other disk except SSBB.
Maybe you are using crappy media
Maybe your burner is defective?
All that leaves is the installation of 1.9g.
What you are doing is about as straightforward as it gets.
The best procedure guide in the world won't help you if you have a defective component.
My first SSBB backup failed because I had bad media ($3.33 bad media at that). I re-burned using $.89 media and it worked fine.
It could be a lot of things, but you should first verify that you can make a backup that works on 1.9b. That will tell you if your setup works in the first place.
