OMG i just got banned. NOT!! april fools!! sorry for the pointless thread, but i had to do this with the 'downtime' of LIVE today. haha

Live is down for repair or maintainence I thought. Ugh I wana be home and see whats up with my 360 =(. It would be funny if live told everyone they were banned while they did there updates. I wouldnt suggest they do so tho because there phone lines would flood

I am a newbie in the modding scene and just modded my Xbox 360 with the VIA chipset and the iextreme firmware. I am having a problem using the Xbox Live and the Madden 08 game. The Madden 08 is the actual real game(not a backup) and I am able to connect to Xbox live and then to the EA servers, however after connecting to an opponent right after the coin toss...the game quits with a message "the connection to your opponent has been lost". Is this what happens when you are banned? Any suggestions? I have a coppied MLB 2k8 and NBA Live 08 and similar occurences happen.

Go to the dashboard go all the way to the right and check ur connection. See if your NAT is open. And no if you were banned it woudlnt let you go that far.

if its open you leave it alone becuase thats what you want. if its anything else, moderate or strict, you update your routers FW as that will set everything as it needs to be.

So I just got home and found that my NAT is currently in Open status. I updated my firmware as well and that still did nothing. Any other ideas of why I am able to sign into Xbox live on Madden 08 (original copy) and EA's servers, go into the EA lobby, select matchup....but after initially connecting to an opponent right as I chose what type of return kickoff setup or kickoff formation, it loses a connection to an opponent. The same thing happend with a copied MLB 2k8 and NBA Live 08 and it is the same story. Any ideas?
