Problem with FF7 PSX Game on homebrew

Yeah, i just got finished ripping and putting FF7 on the psp, i heard about this error that i am also having and i need to know what i have to do to fix it, the game works and all until it comes to the battle. The game freezes up and malfunctions. I have a slim psp 3.90-m33-2. Thanks in advanced.

have you installed popstation

i think you need to do that for many of the psx games to work on 3.80 and 3.90 m33 but im a bit unsure

if you havnt installed popstation i suggest doing that again first.

i did install popstation, but, when i started the game, it brang me to a screen to choose what version, there was i think, up to 3.71. And there was an option to choose, "Use current Version" i chose 3.71 because i thought i read somewhere that it was better or something, but it froze up the game before it even started. Then i had to delete the popstation folder and drag a new one in the psp. So it brang me to the option again and i chose "Use current version" and it works fine until the part where it comes the battle.
