I look at the xeno thinking "Wow, 8$? This is a Steal!"
First xeno installed in one cube worked Once. Then it simply gave redlight errors. So I used desolder braids which litarally tore the circuts off of the xeno`s board. So I removed it abit more forcefully, Causeing the solderpoints on the cube itself to be compromised and torn off, Proving that it was soldered down correctlly.
The second cube and xeno chip. I got it all ready, Soldered the points on the cube and then laid the chip over it, adding abit more solder to connected the points. And what happened? Redlight error again.
Tried to touch up the solderpoints to see if it wasnt getting a strong enough connnection, Same result, Decided I would try soldering braid again, And you guessd it, Torn right out of the chip.
Has ANYBODY had a positive experience with this yet?
I have had XenoGC installed for a couple of months and it's working perfectly. Maybe you just don't have enough experience with soldering? The chip is so tiny that it also needs special equipment to solder properly.
About the chip itself, I think it's excellent because it doesn't change the BIOS and does great what it's supposed to do. I have absolutely no complaints about the chip.

My experience in soldering is nothing at all in question seeing as I have been working with soldering and whatnot for at least 4 years.
These things are so cheaply made you try to use desoldering braid on them and it rips the circuts straight out of the chip, Iv Never seen something so half assed in my life.
It seems that you don't have enough soldering experience to know that some desoldering braids are too strong for small chips. The quality of the chip has got nothing to do with that. I'd suggest you take your chip and Cube to a professional modder next time. A professional modder will succeed to install the chip.
