psp memory card loss off space???

well this really weird thing keeps happening to my memory cards that i use in the pc and it did it to both of the cards i have so im guessing its the psp's fault an i was just wondering if anyone new what it was or how to fix it. So when i put something on the card it takes up a bit of space, then when i delete it i would expect to regain that space but for some reason once i put something on then delete it then it says that space is still being used so my cards keep running out of space when theres absolutly nothing on them. its hard to explain i hope that makes sence any help would really be apreciated.

I wouldn't have a clue what is happening to your PSP MS

Try inserting it via USB cable to the comp then deleting things via the comp. If that doesn't work then I don't what the heck is going on :S

thanks for the reply but nah thats not it. i alwaysdo it pluggedinto the pc i wonder if the files go to some bin on the memory stick that isnt visible or something its really bugging me because the memory sticks arent cheap an i can just keep wasting them because my psp kills them grrr lol....

right if you have cfw you can use filer to find the hidden folder that stores the deleted data.

i found i had the same problem on my 4gb stick and i found a folder on filer that was big and id never made it before. when i plugged it into the computer and put show hidden folder i found nothing. i went back to filer and then deleted them and then all was file.

if you dont have cfw or cant find the folder just format the memory stick and see if that deletes it off there. once formated you shouldn't have the problem again hopefuly

I think your memory stick is corrupted. This happened to me on my 2GB MS when it said that I had a 10GB file on it. Back up all the necessities from the PSP MS to your computer and reformat the MS through the computer or through the PSP.
