error reading with DVD+R burning

I hope been ripping and burning dvd's successfully with DVD+RW, but not doing well using DVD+R disc. Every time there is error reading and have wasted the disc.

Anyone with any clues

The blank media you are using might not be compatible with you burner or there is a fault with the burner itself
