I am suspecting that my drive is not working because of a faulty power cable that connects the drive to the motherboard. I've been trying to locate a spare cable but there is none. Anyone know where I can get one? If anyone has spare that will work too.

I am looking for the power cable though, the white insulated one? And I'd rather not risk jumping a cable myself if there are spare cables around

Same answer. It's most likely a proprietary part. Unless you cannibalized a broken Wii there is little chance that you'd get one from nintendo.

That was not the question. TC wanted to know "Anyone know where I can get one?". The implication was that he wanted to get one for himself, not have one installed.

You said there was a "little chance" he could get one from nintendo. That is false they will give you a new one if you send it in, even if it was opened, I know this for a fact because my friend had the same problem and he has his opened before he sent it in. We're trying to help people on here dailun, and giving people false answers isn't going to help anyone is it?
