I recently unbricked my psp and has the firmware to 3.80m33. I updated this through the network update to 3.80m33-5 but when i try and update it to 3.90m33 by putting the update folder and 390.PBP file in GAME the 3.90 sony updater will not come up when i exit USB mode and scroll over to GAME/MEMORY STICK.

It also doesnt show any image of the game whether it be ISO or CSO files when i put them in the ISO folder.

Please could someone help.

try reformatting your mem stick. then use the network update to go to 3.9m33 then update again to go to 3.9m33-3 if you are looking to update. as far as cso and iso games reformat the mem stick and check this out:

Just to say, 3.90 M33-3 has a prank on it so make sure its recovered properly.

Are you sure you've put the files in the right places.

ISO/CSO files go like this:
MS:/ISO

Updates go like this:
MS:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE - Inside update should be EBOOT.PBP (3.90M33) and 390.PBP (Official firmware).

hi, wasted i did reformat my mem stick and try network update but it wouldnt let me because it kept coming up with a message saying download failed.

Deathtord i have put the ISO and CSO's under MS:/ISO and i have also put the update folder and the 3.90m33 eboot file under MS:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE and yet when i exit USB mode and scroll to game/memory stick to play a game the game files isnt there when it is stored on the memory stick and the 3.90 updater doesnt come up either on the psp under memory stick when ive stored it on the memory stick aswell.

try pandora and re flash the cfw if it not letting you update something may be corrupt in the flash
