So I recently after a year of not playing my PSP decided to buy god of war. Well I plugged in my psp and let it charge for a good day. I went to power it on and it didnt work. All I get is a the red light. I tried Un-plugging the ac unit to run it off the battery didnt work. Tried to take out the battery and run it off the ac unit no luck. I called sony's tech support what a joke. They said to take the unit and try a diffrent ac unit which I did and that didnt work either even a diffrent battery. All I get is a red light. I dont know what to do and I dont want to pay sony $90.00 for a replacement. The unit has less than 20 hours of play and has never been dropped or exposed to water. I did noticed that after the time of sitting the on/hold button was sticky and I had to force it slightly to the on position. Any help? Thanks

I assume I'll have to open the system up to find it?

Quite possible I have a broken power button, although it will go into the hold position. Button has slight play in it.

Well sony wants me to pay them $90.00 because it's been a year and the warenty is no longer covered. It sucks because it's only got less than 20 hours of play time on it.
