im thinking about getting a 360 soon and i have a few questions. ive been reading the FAQ here http://www.360mods.net/Forums/viewtopic/t=232.html but it was 2 years ago since they posted this so i want to get up to date.
if i mod my 360, i read that you can flash the dvd drive. correct me if im wrong but if i flash it, then it will allow me to play burned games?? and are 360 games on dvds? do they have to be DL DVD's? or can it run DVD-R? how big are the files usually? and is there a way to mod it so that i can transfer the game to a hard drive so i dont have to burn games? if so can it be a IDE HDD? if i play a normal game on a modded 360 can i still play live without getting banned for sure? (i never played live before i would like to if possible).
-about the ring of death thing, a lot of people are saying 360's break a lot. is the main problem just the air/heat circulation? is it because of a poor fan or is just a bad 360? how would i fix this?
If i mod the 360 first, and decide not to, so i can play live without being banned at all, is there a way to reverse the mod? like flash the stock firmware?
what type of xbox 360 should i get? like elite? arcade? and do all 360's have an HDMI output? is the 360 backward compatible with the old xbox? is there a way to use an emulator on the 360 to play backed up xbox games? what can be emulated on the 360?

7. yes you can flash it back to normal, but it wont ensure you wont get banned. so you might as well leave it flashed.

what can i use the hard drive for by getting elite or pro? all i can think of is movies. how easy is it to upgrade the hard drive to a bigger size? and does all the 360's have HDMI output? im sure sure if you answered it or not.
and since im just flashing the firmware i assume i dont need to buy equipment?
for a sr member you sure dont know how to use the darn search bar. HD is used for game saves downloaded content, LIVE profiles, etc. upgrading the HD is a pain in the but and only a couple are capable of being used due to formatting and stuff. most newer consoles have hdmi on them. and yes you have to buy some equipment to flash the drive.
im sorry if i pissed off you guys for asking theese questions. if you read my SECOND sentence 'DontBanMe' i did do some research and i thought it was be alright to ask questions that i didnt not find from my research. i assumed that a forum community would be nice enough to be straight toward and such instead of badgering me for making a mistake, you, DontBanMe, dont need to repeat the same this the person before you said and not give any helpful information at all. did you post your response just to mock me? i was not familiar about the 360, and i simply wanted to learn and ask questions. but, again, i apologize for any inconvenience i caused by asking questions or making this.
