Ritek G03 (Ridata) Inkjet printing on standard discs?

Has anyone tried printing directly on Ritek discs (not the ones specifically made for inkjet printing)? They have the frosted silver tops - not quite white but close enough. I'm mostly worried about the disc not being as readable or getting damaged somehow in the process. Anyone tried this and have any comments?

Oh yeah - for those who are wondering there are inkjet printers capable of printing directly on cds/dvds. Most can't but some can - e.g. Epson R300.
