First, thank you for taking the time to read this.

Im trying to downgrade my PSP down to 1.50. Im currently running 3.90 M33 V.3.

I set up the recovery folder in the PSP/GAME folder, got the eboot, renamed it, and put it in. When i go into the recovery menu and hit "Run program at ........" the screen goes black for a second, and then an error message come up.

The game could not be started. (80010002)

Ive searched and searched, but every answer i find leeds to nothing. Now my UMD games wont read, and PSx ISO's wont properly boot. I just want to reset everything...

I'm begging the community here, please help. It will be greatly appreciated.

Okay, please anyone correct if I am wrong but I think some people in previous posts have been given the wrong information. From my experience and everything that i have reaeched, I'm going to say that you cannot downgrade to a previous firmware version without a pandora battery regardless of whether or not you're already running custom firmware.

In a post from earlier today I had told another user that you cannot downgrade to an earlier M33 firmware without a pandor battery. However, I was bluntly told that this is incorrect. this was the post after mine...

No, thats not the only way.

You can put the recovery files onto you Memory Stick (After backing up your files on the Mem Stick of course)

When your PSP boots hold the R-Trigger and find the Recovery option.

This "Downgrades" to 1.5 then you upgrade to 3.52M33 then to 3.52M33-4 then after that you can go to any other CFW
Someone clarify because I have not found anyway to downgrade without a pandora battery.

no with a pandora battery umps you can go back to 1.5 or straight to 3.71 official firmware if the pandora dosent work one of 3 things have happened

1.) you used corrupt file to make the memory stick
fix: redo the memory stick
2.) your flash partition is messed up
fix: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/619967 last half of this disscussion
3.) your idstorage is corrupt
fix a.)you have a backup before the problem started (nad backup) restore nad
fix b.)you dont have the back up of idstorage keys http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stor...552921665237696

Right, but what i'm saying is that you can't downgrade to any firmware (1.5 3.71 ect...) without a pandora battery.
