Download DVD Decrypter, and rip the ISO from the CD.

Make sure you insert it into the CD burner if you have one, and the black face doesn't matter, it doesn't make a difference.

DVD Decryptor will only rip ISOs from DVDs!! If you try with a CD the program will tell you that there is no DVD in the drive.
Importantly, what message did you get when Nero couldn't copy the disc?
I would recommend you clean the disc surface and use Alcohol 120%, Clone CD or CDRWIN.
Swap Magic DVD/CD boots Ps2 DVD/CD backups, "very few" have been successful in booting Psx backups with SM CD.
What version is your Ps2?
What game is kof95?

Check the sticker on the back of the Ps2 for number (eg. 39001 would be a v7 Ps2)

Just a few quick notes:

Yep, the CD of Swap Magic 3.6 is used for CD PS2 backups. What you will need to do is find yourself a copy of Breaker Pro or an old Gameshark (I'm not sure which version, but its one of the earlier ones)

Once you have that, then backing up PS1 games is pretty simple. The only way I have experience with is by using CloneCD, and it has worked wonders :) There's a free 21-day trial available from Slysoft. Simply rip the ISO and burn. There's a pretty good guide here which lists all the possible software to do this, and there are detailed steps to follow. Hope that helps :)

I guess Breaker Pro and the Gameshark could be considered as games ... they are in fact real PS1 disks, if that's what you mean. The easiest way to understand it is that they are the equivalent of Swap Magic for PSX (Gameshark was a cheatloader for the PS1).

A burned copy of these will NOT work (technically if you have a modchip, yes they will, but if you do, what's the point ...); it must be originally printed. Breaker Pro works exactly the same as swap magic; you put the CD in, press Game Start, swap disks, and press X, and hope your burned copy was burned correctly.

So the short answer to your question, yes, you will have to buy these items :)

It depends on where you live. If you're in Canada or outside the US, http://www.modchip.ca/ is a good site to go to (or so I've heard)

I special ordered mine from here, as I live in the US. Email the customer service representitive and he will tell you how to place to order.

Again, you should check the sites you buy from, as they all list different prices; I believe I got mine around for around $15.

Earlier you stated that you had a copy of Swap Magic - check to see if the site you ordered it from offers Breaker Pro
