I apologize if I've missed a thread topic related to mine. I went through several pages and couldn't find any help, so I decided to make my own.

I currently use DVD Shrink to rip the DVD and put it in ISO form (sorry if my terminology is a little off). Then I use PowerISO (cracked version) to burn the DVD. Today I ran into a problem though... I ripped Old School and went to PowerISO to burn it and it didn't even really try to burn it but twice (I've gone through about 8 DVD+Rs). It kept giving me the error: Burning failed (-109,jibberish). So I googled "PowerISO burning failed" and discovered some nonpaid for versions might not work properly, etc... So like a fool I went and purchased it and alas it still gives me the same error.

I'm really tired of messing with this issue. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I would have bought Nero (I somehow snagged a cracked addition YEARS ago and it worked great, but I lost it), but it's ridiculous to pay $80 for it, plus I can't afford to.

I also have DVD43 installed, if that makes any difference.

Burn the ISO with 'IMGBurn'.

Please edit the references to 'cracked' software;it upsets the Moderators.

Sorry. I'm new to this website. I had seen that in another thread and thought nothing of it.

use dvdshrink to create the vob files instead of iso.
See if they will play on your computer.

Buy and use dvd-rw while you're testing. They're reusable.

Thanks so much for the advice. ImgBurn worked fine for that movie, hopefully I won't run into any problems with it!

ImgBurn didn't work the second time around. Won't even get to 1%, just freezes while buffering.
