I have been trying to burn some dvds but some of them are "copy protected" and dvd shrink won't do anything with them. Is there a way to get around this?

I recommend ripping the disc with DVD Shrink, burning it with DVD Decrypter and downloading AnyDVD (it will get past the copyright protections 99.9% of the time) which can be found at www.slysoft.com. Download the trial version (you have a month to use it without limitation). If you like it, then buy the full version. It's worth it in my opinion. Ever since I bought AnyDVD, I've never needed anything else, other then the mentioned software, to copy DVD's.
I recommend using dvdfab. It does everything ie, ripping, compressing and burning all in one application is all one needs. Using dvdfab decryptor doesn't compress the files, therefore one will need another appz to compress the files to fit in one disc, unless burning it on a dual layer. Actually any ripping appz is good...as long it does the job. I have used anydvd, clonedvd practically all of slysoft appz, but sometimes slysoft is slow on catching up with the newer protection, whereas other ripping appz does the trick.
