hey guys. im still waiting for my datel slim tool battery in the mail. 1-4 weeks. i have everything ready though, already know what to do and already made the magical recordificating memory stick (1gb). i have a question about the tool battery though.

only thing im going to use it for is to install the cfw on my psp. after that i probably wont use it. lets say a year from now, i somehow brick my psp and i need to use my battery again. well its been sitting still for a year and of course batteries go bad.

so lets say my tool battery only lasts for a minute even when fully charged. my question is, is it useless? do i have to get a new tool battery that can hold a charge? or can i use it as normal, as long as the power cord is connected to my psp? its a slim psp

plug your psp in without battery, power on, insert pandoras, turn off psp, let charge.

Enjoy!!!

Well to charge the Pandora you need to plug the charger into the PSP without the battery in, once it boots up to the main screen you then insert the battery into the console and let it charge.

I just barely flashed my fw today (still haven't finished upgrading it, as my normal battery needs to charge) so I'm unsure of if you can charge it without booting up to the main screen (say it's bricked and the screen stays black).

However if you have a friend with a PSP you can always charge it in theirs and then use it on your console. Sorry I can't be of more help.
