Hello All-

I have spent time trying to find the answers I need on this forum so sorry if I missed it. I have used dvd shrink successfully until I recently updated to nero 8! My burner is a plextor px 760a. What software should I have to copy a dvd! If you can make it work with nero fine, if not what should I buy. The fewer the programs and steps the better.

Thanks,
Scott

And the Lord said " Do you believe that I am able to do this?"
Yes Lord they replied.
"According to your faith will it be done to you"
And their sight was restored.

1) Skip Nero 8, go back to Nero 7
2) More help found here

Before I state my problem know this...
I have installed these programs and have the most updated ones.
FixVTS, DVDFab, DVD Shrink and ImgeBurn

I have high quality disks as suggested by this site's many post's.

I followed the guide perfectly.

I know not to use Nero 8.

The problem... The last step in the guide. (The other link don't work)
Imgburn is not mentioned in the choice but Nero and the ISO is. (I chose ISO)
Imgburn will not open automatically as stated.

Thanks, Scott

Using 4 programs does suck. Is there 1 program I can buy that does it all?

FYI... Many of the links no longer link even from the newer post's.

as i posted in the other thread just write an iso to the HDD with dvd shrink then open imgburn fine the file and burn

or if you want to use the easier one step programs stick with dvdfab platinum or clonedvd + anydvd as i outline in this thread below how to use

Open Imgburn in "write" mode, browse to your ISO file, then click the big green arrow. Have a cup of coffee, then remove your new disc from the drive.

Cannot say how well the new version of this works, but I had DVDXCOPY when it was sold in the US and this is made by the same people..just the 'international version' or something like that. Again, never used this program, but if you are wanting simplistic click and copy, you might want to look into this.

Oh, and I think this make me Scott IV....nice to know we have all end up in the same forums.
